Established in 1915, the Coopersville/Polkton Fire Department has proudly served the City of Coopersville and Polkton Township for over a century. Our dedicated members provide essential services including:

Our
Team
Our team includes a full-time Fire Chief and
Firefighter, supported by paid-on-call members who respond to emergencies
alongside their full-time commitments.
Paid-On-Call Firefighters
Paid-on-call firefighters respond to incidents when available, utilizing personal vehicles to reach the station and responding to emergencies with our apparatus.

Minimum Requirements
At least 18 years old
Hold a High School Diploma or GED
Reside within the City of Coopersville or Polkton Township
Possess a valid Michigan driver’s license with no more than 6 points
Have no felony or disqualifying criminal convictions
